Suggestion for hardcore Title belt and European Title belt

Hardcore Title belt: All non-foreign object cards are removed from the game from each player's ringside pile before their draw. This is to allow more focus on using foreign objects in a hardcore match rather than BASH, Heat, Revo manuevers..... An exception could be given to Extreme Manuevers, however since they don't interact with Chicago Street Fight.....Note that the removal happens before each player's draw, so there is a limited time between the players turn and his/her(as in Azmin..:p) opponent's turn to recover cards in the ringside.

European Title Belt: All cards with the word 'euro' in the title, 'euro' in the text or any other nation/city per current European Union Members in title or in text is F:0, has RMS and cannot be reversed except from Arsenal if it's the first card play that turn. In other words, yes, please play more European Uppercuts......

History Made and the Runaway Big Freakin' Mashin'...

Last Friday on Ra...Smac...EC...Atria Mr. PPV defended all of his titles.

In the first event, Mr. PPV was clearly outnumbered in a number match where nothing could blindside The Legend 'Booby' Heenan as he employed the 2 monsters APA to deal with Mr. PPV. After checking Mr. PPV's Arsenal and Backlash, a confident 'Booby' went about his way, giving APA the orders to land Mr. PPV blow after blow. Ofcourse, Mr. PPV fought back and dealt some crucial blows to gain some momentum, however the end was nigh. until Mr. PPV realised why he was fighting APA for 'Booby Heenan', not Bobby Heenan..That was because for all it's worth APA forgot to practice a crucial manuever, known as sidewalk slam and therefore didn't have it in their arsenal. The lack of which was clear and One Rolling Thunder later, Booby Heenan's APA were pin 1-2-3. Mr. PPV remains the Hardcore Champion.

In the second event, a triple threat for the Eurpoean Title belt. For some reason LAiSE decided to not turn up and in his place, the (un)dead Chris Benoit, much to Babe of the Year's surprise. Having said that, it all played nicely into Mr. PPV's hands as Babe's initial strategy to deny prematch events (by stripping in the ring as she enters first, completely distracting anyone and everyone watching) was countered by Mr. PPV wanting to play the game. After much back and forth action between Babe and her (un)dead lover, eventually it was Mr. PPV who did the job by pinning Chris. But the victory was all thanks to the Coach's double interference to stop Babe from skirting the issues, as in Unique manuevers.

In the third event and Mr. PPV's second triple threat for the Heavyweight Belt, it was marred by poor officiation. Firstly, no one seems to understand what on earth was Andre the Giant doing there let alone his ability. Almost 2/3 of the match was played with him thinking a lot less of himself, which, coming to think of it, is about right for Andre the Giant. Secondly, the other Leged vying Mr.PPV's unbeaten streak was Ric Flair, who styled and profiled everything about Mr. PPVs moves. So much so that even though Andre had fortitude, Ric prefers to remove things from Mr. PPV's ring instead. That was the amount of tag-teaming and handicapping Mr. PPV had to deal with the entire night. Yet in the end, there can only be ONE. That ONE, is not the only Jet Li Standing...NO, that ONE is MR. P-P-V....(two thumbs up and pointing at the head/neck please...)

Of course, there were to be a final fatal fourway for the big red's Intercontinental title, but alas, it was not meant to be. Big Red was way past his bedtime and before we know it, he was a dead weight inside the backstage with his thumb in his mouth. It was gory. So gory that the producers decided maybe the match can be shelved.

History will forever remember how Mr. PPV defended all of his titles against insurmountable odds. At the end of the night, there were rumours that the Chairman were heard to be told, "Suck IT!!!"

Tonight on Ra...Smac...EC.....Atria.....

History will be made.

For the first time ever, one man shall prove that no chairman, writer, player, jet-flyer, legend, babe or ring can stop the unstoppable. One man shall prove that no matter the odds, superiority triumphs over mediocrity. Talent triumphs over trash talk. The best in this business, will make an unprecedented appearance in 4 matches in a single night. No, they're not just non-titled one on one matches. They are all titled matches. A no holds barred Chicago Street Fighting Hardcore Title match against Heenan and his unmerry men. A mix gender 3-way match for the European Title. A triple threat match with 2 WWE Hall of Famers, somehow wrestling in their prime for the Heavywieght Title. Last and definitely not least, a fatal four way match with a giant, a big freakin' machine and a wannabe prophet of god.

This night, history will be made. Made in a way no writer could ever think that it could be written. Made in a way it will bring more viewing ratings than any chairman and his board of directors could imagine. Made in a way it could only be possible with R-V-........

I beg your pardon? I thought he is R-...No? He's known as what? Who on earth coined up that sorry a$$ name???? Fine fine...

Made only possible by the one, the only King of the Ring, Mr. P-P-V!!!!!!!!!!!

A storm is brewing.....

"The script is working as it should. I'm glad those writers did as I ask them to. Screw Mr. PPV. How dare he take a day off without getting my approval. Now he's got 2 Triple Threat Match AND a Chicago Street Fight with Bobby Heenan's stable of wrestlers. I don't know who he'll employ, but all I care is that he gives him a good hiding and send him to hell. Once he's no longer a champion, then I'll have no issues telling him, "You're FIRRRRREEEEEEEED!!!"

"hahahahahahahaha

"Though there's this problem with him and his King of the Ring though. The writers better come up with something good or head will roll...

"Mr. PPV can smell what's cooking. It sure isn't stylin profilin'...He smells a buried alive match where the grave will only fit him..

Mr. PPV Missing!!!

Friday 19th July 2008, SS22 - Mr. PPV is reportedly missing in action and will hang on to his belts thanks to the "1-no show week allowed" clause. The management is unsure where he has gone and the McMahons are livid that their 3-belt holder is AWOL.

Certain sources have been heard to say that Mr. PPV has decided to watch Batman: the Dark Knight instead of showing up tonight on RA...SMAC...EC...Atria tonight.

At the gym yesterday, there were rumours that the McMahons were so unhappy over his disappearance for something he could have watched in an empty cinema all on his own any other night, that they may engineer an plot twist to make Mr. PPV lose all 3 of his belts. So much for going for "5 belt champion"...

Nothing is confirmed, of course, unless the Chairman himself makes an announcement, right here on Ringsteps.blogspot.com!

"Life is like a box of chocolate.........

"McMahon decides what you're going to get, you get!!!

"Hahahaha.. That clownA$$ Peep's chump must have been wondering why on earth did he win so convincingly against my son, Shane is a double jeopardy match. Little did he know the writers have all but told him NOTHING of what is truly to be of his Hardcore reign. How dare he beat me 2 weeks ago. How dare he make me fight like a woman! He deserves the boot. The big fat boot.

"Mr. PPV has done a hattrick of titles, Hardcore, Heavyweight, (H)european....it is a sign..A sign of things to come. A sign of the return of the KING. The KING of KINGS....But before that....Another (wannabe) king might just feature... Mr. PPV also sits on his almighty throne as the King of the Ring.. I'm so happy he's in my stable of Superstars. Who cares if he can't say his name without the 2 thumbs down? Who cares if It's All About the Game is truly his silver bullet?? I will give him all the main events he needs. Now he just has to end the title reign of that Big F*&kin' Machine and take the Intercontinental Belt. Wait, or should he take the Spinner belt too?? Coach, get me the writers...NOW!!!!!!"

Suggestions

How about every Friday the Venue is fixed?

Have that A$$clown list down all the venues and then at the end of each night randomly pick 1 venue that hasn't been picked? (So eventually the list will drop until all venues have been used, then recycle!)

Having said that, that doesn't stop other people from playing venues, just that there's always 1 venue in play but not on either player's ring area. If there's an ACE then whomever that uses it first get's to use it. For continuous or triggered effects, it can be used as long as it doesn't remove itself (It can't be removed by either player)

Also, maybe we should start documenting the rules for the our title belt challenges, surprise chaleenges, etc? If we haven't already. Maybe make a side bar or something. Sorry, I don't know hwo to do these stuff on blogs...

It Hurts!!!

"That silly shade wearing eye-brow lifting retired for movies ex-wrestler who isn't even a people person's champ needs to be reminded of his candy a$$ place. FIRED! I didn't deserve getting clobbered beyond recognition in the match. I AM VINCENT KENNEDY McMAHON, DAMMIT!! At least this time that dead wrestler who's crossface move is now OWNED by HHH didn't get going with his clutch, pokes and shakes.

"I am Sooo going to teach that boulder not to mess with a McMahon, not least the most powerful one. Time to call in reinforcements.

"I now officially challenge the Peep's Champ with my very own flesh and blood, Shane!!!!"

Mr PPV holds off challengers!

Mr. PPV successfully held off challenges last Friday to extend his double title reign. It was a masterclass performance for him for the night and any future challengers will have their work cut out for them to wrestle away his titles.

First off though, the night kicked off with the announcement that the Women's Championship was declared vacant, in lieu of Xtreme Diva's unavailability to defend the title. It has been speculated in RingSide View that she is somewhere in Borneo although it was inconclusive in deciding just what exactly was she doing there. Surprisingly only 1 woman was around to declare her interest in the Title, former Champion Mickey James, now under a new manager (Asyraq), seemingly frustrated with her former manager's unwillingness to support her title aspirations. Babe of the Year was reported to be making an appearance, but was not around at the beginning of the evening.

Elijah Burke made a bold attempt to dethrone Mr PPV from his heavyweight title but it was clearly a mis-match, as Mr PPV showed that his winning it was no fluke, dispatching Elijah Burke with arrogant superiority.

Ric Flair returned tonight, and with his thirst for a title still unquenched, he took on Eugene for the Spinner Belt. Eugene was clearly in awe of the legendary Nature Boy, and Flair was able to use that to his advantage and Wooooooooo-ed his way to the Title!

It was now clear that Babe of the Year would not be appearing, either for her Intercontinental Challenge, or for the vacant Women's Title. Rumour on the grapevine has it that the Big Freakin' Machine had actually asked her out the night before. Whether or not this is true remains to be seen, but the Big Freakin' Machine spent the entire night near the Announcer's Table with a huge evil smile on his face.

Whatever the case, Mickey James ended up being declared the new Women's Champion, and she celebrated her return to the Title by taking a few pot shots at her former manager.

The Triple Threat Match for the Hardcore Title was quite a nasty affair, particularly for WWE head honcho Vince McMahon. Chris Benoit and The People's Champion did not take to their boss too kindly, and had no insecurity whatsoever about their salaries. Vince was given a beating he would never forget, and it became clear that whatever happened, Vince would not be the one with the title at the end of the day. In the end, a new Title Holder was declared, and it was The People's Champion!

The last match saw The Largest Athlete in Sports Entertainment take on Mr PPV for the European Title. At the start it looked like Mr PPV was going to have his Title taken away from him, as TLAISE was able to get the upper hand early and Mr PPV was on the ropes. Unfortunately, TLAISE could not sustain his momentum, allowing Mr PPV to regroup, and regroup he did. TLAISE was unable to keep up, and the match was soon over for him.

Eyes now turn to the King of the Ring tournament this Friday and Mr PPV will be looking on with great interest, knowing that whoever wins will be eyeing his Heavyweight Title...

Back at Vince's Office.....

Those bloody cohorts...Don't they know WHO pays their salary??!!!!

Me!!! VINCENT KENNEDY McMAHON, DAMMIT!!!!!!

I'm going to teach that pesky Shawn Michaels that if he is to job, he jobs to Me. ME! ME!!!! Not that Undead Chris Benoit. Even the Dead Man has retired, the Phenom defeated. How on earth could Shawn "backstabbing" Michaels lose to a Cripple's Crossface??? I don't recall approving that in the script??

Speaking of scripts, where on earth are the writers. I want to show them who's boss. I want to...want to...tell them....YOU'RE FIREEEEEEED!!!!!!

Now I've got to find someone to sabotage that Benoit's manager, Assrack, so that I can be the undeafeated Hardcore Champ! Yeah. That feels good. Better than having Big Show Kiss my A$$.
This Friday Night, I'm going to show what comeback is.

Exclusive: Maria Interviews Mr. PPV!

Maria was able to catch up with Mr. PPV shortly after he had secured both the World Heavyweight Title and the European Title. Here's the interview they had:

Maria: Congratulations on your double win, Mr PPV! I’m so happy for you! How did you do it?

Mr.PPV: Thank you, Maria, it’s all because I’m Rob…Van… Dam!

Maria: Huh? Didn’t you win in your Mr PPV persona?

Mr. PPV: I did, but I don’t have a signature taunt in that persona, so I have to go back to Rob… Van... Dam!

Maria: With the thumbs?

Mr. PPV: ?

Maria: What I mean is, when you wave your thumbs like that, does it help you to remember your name… because it looks like you can’t say your name without your thumb pointing.

Mr. PPV: Uh, sure I can! I’m …. Rob…. Van…. Dam! Er, okay, maybe I can’t.

Maria: So, is Faarooq formerly of APA one of your fans?

Mr. PPV: ??? What…? Why?

Maria: Because everytime he sees something interesting, he goes... Dam!

Mr. PPV: ? Er… Listen Maria..

Maria: But he can’t say your full name, does he have to wave his thumbs too?

Mr. PPV: Maria…

Maria: Or he’s only saying part of your name because he likes only part of you?

Mr. PPV: Maria!

Maria: Which part?

Mr. PPV: …….. DAM! (turns and walks away in disgust)

Maria: Mr PPV? Mr PPV! (chases)

RingSide View mag out now!

RingSide View is a publication dedicated to the going-ons of Friday Night Wrestling in Malaysia. Check out the first edition July 2008 now available at your nearest newsstand!

Announcement on Women's Title

Under current regulations, any wrestler not available for 2 weeks or more to defend their title against any challenger will have their title stripped. This is of course to ensure that wrestlers, and especially their wily managers, do not find devious ways to wriggle their way out of title challenges.

Xtreme Diva looks set to forfeit her Women's Title as it has been revealed that she will clearly be unavailable for more than 2 weeks to defend it. As a result, this Friday, the Title will be declared vacant.

Wrestlers and managers, please take note.

Explosive Night!

To those who witnessed it live, last Friday was a night sure to be remembered for the RAW DEAL community. A total of FIVE Title Belts were contested, and blows were traded furiously as wrestlers jostled to claim superiority.

The only disappointment was the non-appearance of Hall and Nash to contest for the Tag Team Titles, despite the attendance of their manager, Asyraq. When asked, Asyraq was non-committal as to their whereabouts. Managerial issues, perhaps? In any case, Los Guerreros were able to relax and enjoy the night unchallenged. Also, there were doubts as to whether Sgt Slaughter would be around to defend both his titles.

The night kicked off with a challenge for the Spinner Belt Title. Torrie Wilson, the challenger, started off well with some good technical work. Unfortunately, her inexperience showed and she was unable to capitalise on her advantage. Defending Champion Eugene was able to claw back into the match and after a second giant head butt, Torrie slowly capitulated.

The World Heavyweight Title challenge was up next, and it was a Triple Threat between The Phenom, Mr Pay Per View and Victoria, No Way Out Style. From the get-go, the two males were pretty happy to ignore Victoria and go for each other's throats, and for awhile, that suited Victoria as well! But after a while, Victoria got bored and attempted to oversell a maneuver, resulting in her suddenly becoming a target. In the end Mr PPV was able to pin her with a high risk maneuver, leaving The Phenom frustrated at the loss of his Title without actually being the one pinned.

The challenge for the InterContinental Title was short-lived, with BFM making short work of veteran Ric Flair. BFM extends his long Title reign with yet another successful defense. Will he ever be dethroned?

The Hardcore Title match was up next, and it soon became clear that Sgt Slaughter would not be appearing. However, as he had not given earlier notice of his absence, the T.O. deemed his Title vacant. As such, Victoria, Vince McMahon, Chris Benoit and Shawn Michaels all took to the ring. Chris Benoit and Shawn Michaels appeared to be having a personal feud, Vince was a bystander for most of the match, and he was visibly upset at not getting more involved. Victoria was targetted every now and then, but was continuously protected by a flamboyant Shawn Michaels. In the end though, Shawn Michaels tapped out to a Crippler Crossface, as Chris Benoit once again emerged triumphant for a Title he has always claimed as his birthright.

Finally, also as a result of Sgt Slaughter non-appearance, the European Title was also vacant. Victoria once again entered the ring and attempted to exact revenge against Mr PPV. However, Mr PPV was on a high, determined to pick up his second title of the night, and gave her no chance whatsoever.

2 successful Title defences, and 2 new Champions, with Mr PPV holding two belts. It was ertainly a night to remember, and a particularly glorious night for the Judge Ben brand of wrestlers. Congratulations to all winners!

The Challenges keep coming!

Seems like tomorrow's going to be the busiest night ever since T.O. Andy launched the weekly event. Two more wrestlers have entered the fray and it looks like the only Title Holder who doesn't have to defend his/her title is XTreme Diva ... That's right, Sgt Slaughter has been challenged for his European Belt by The Largest Athlete in the WWE, managed by Asyraq! Will the Sarge be able to hold off two consecutive challenges?

The other wrestler seems to regard the Hardcore Title as his birthright and is chomping to regain the Title after losing it two weeks ago. Chris Benoit's (Asyraq) entry into the field means that the match for the Hardcore Belt is now a Fatal Fourway!

The deadline for tomorrow is today, but who knows? The night might be full of surprises...

Whatever the case, it's gonna be a long night....

Challenge Updates !

Tomorrow promises to be a frenzy of wrestling activity as the T.O. has announced not only the addition of one more wrestling match, but the transformation of 2 one-on-one challenges into Triple Threats! It's a night even Vince K McMahon would be proud of, and hell, he's involved in a match himself!

First up, Azmin has declared that Torrie Wilson will be challenging for Eugene's Spinner Belt. Can Torrie stand up to Eugene's Unique abilities with only 3 skirts to show for? We'll find out tomorrow.

Eugene's Manager, Judge Ben was seemingly annoyed by the challenge, and as a result he's added two more challenges for tomorrow in two existing matches! One is for the World Heavyweight Title, where he'll be fronting Mr Pay-Per-View, and the other's for the Hardcore Title, where the Chairman of the Board himself, Mr Vince McMahon will look to claim a belt for his own!

It's gonna be a cracker folks!

This week's Challenges!

We return you to our regular scheduled programming after last week's Royal Rumble match feature. Several challenges were announced today, and it appears there might be more if the rumours on the grapevine are to be believed.

Hall and Nash, managed by Asyraq will attempt to make Los Guerrero's reign as Tag Team Champions as short as possible. As veterans of the industry, they will be determined to pummel the Latino upstarts into submission.

Another veteran, Ric Flair (Amin Hafiz) has announced his intention to take on BFM for the Intercontinental Title. BFM, whom together with Xtreme Diva are the two current Champions who have held on to their respective titles the longest, will attempt to increase his title reign.

Azmin's Victoria challenge to The Phenom for The World Heavyweight Championship raised more than a few eyebrows. One cannot help but wonder if the Diva is just battling the voices in her head in agreeing to such a lopsided match.

Finally, Shawn Michaels (Amin Hafiz) has wasted no time in exercising his Royal Rumble ticket and has called out Sgt Slaughter for the Hardcore title. Will he be able to take down The Legend?

More challenges may be in store, watch this space!

Shawn Michaels v2.0 Triumphant!

Shawn Michaels v2.0 (Amin Hafiz) relived his 1995-96 glory last Friday when he emerged Champion of the Royal Rumble! As a result, he has earned the right to challenge for any Title Belt without the need to put up an ante.

The evening started slowly after it was revealed that two Superstars would not be appearing in the Royal Rumble, i.e. Shawn Michaels v1.0 aka HBK (Aboi - at work) and Matt Stryker (Hafyzan - striked out). However, it was a long overdue comeback for Azmin and his stable of female wrestlers as Torrie Wilson took to the stage with Chloe (her dog) at ringside. She started the event against The Leader of the Peepulation (Andy), who entered the ring with trademark grin and shades.

Torrie started the match well, landing a few well placed blows on The Leader, including a Modified Clutch which caused him to yelp in pain. HBK entered the ring soonafter, and he too began assaulting The Leader. However, Torrie began to annoy the other two with her constant peeking and attention soon turned to her, forcing her to fend off multiple blows. Shawn Michael attempted to throw her out of the ring but she managed to hang on. Unfortunately, she was unable to retaliate and she was weakening by the minute. A second attempt by HBK to throw her out succeeded, and Torrie was left on her bum rueing a quick end to her comeback match.

HBK then continued by clutching The Leader and immediately tried to throw him out of the ring, only to yell out in pain when The Leader jabbed him with his shades. The Leader then delivered some well placed blows but was unable to throw him out. HBK then returned fire with a multimaneuver that his opponent was unable to reverse, and a short while later, The Leader was flat on his face outside the ring!

Shawn Michaels basked in glory, revelling in his victory. By the end of the night though, he had not announced which belt he would be challenging for. Which would it be? And when? Only he himself knows, but the belt holders had best watch out, for you never know... when the Heartbreak Kid comes a-calling!

Friday the 13th: Sgt Slaughter does a Jason!

It was an eventful evening last Friday, and none moreso than for the man at the centre of it all, Sergeant Slaughter (Fiezan), who by the end of the evening, had Two Title Belts to his name.

The first match to get underway was the challenge for the Heavyweight Title, and Judge Ben sent out Kurt Angle to tackle the Wrestlemania Legend, The Phenom. Despite a good fight, The Phenom showed why the title belonged to him, despatching Kurt Angle and has now held the title for a month.

The Tag Team Title Belt had been changing hands in the past few weeks and this week was no different. Andy's Los Guerreros lied, cheated and stealed as they took out the Two Man Power Trip for the title.

The next match was Sgt Slaughter versus Chris Benoit (Asyraq). The sergeant was out to regain his Hardcore Title Belt after losing it last week, and did so in a breathless show of wrestling superiority.

Judge Ben's Eugene had a busy but successful day. He had to defend his Spinner Title against first Hafiz's Elijah Burke , then Hafiz's Your Freakin' Hero. Eugene must be wondering how much longer he'll be able to fight off the challenges.

The last weekmatch turned out to be an unscheduled Triple Threat match for the European Title Belt. With the Undertaker not around to defend the title, three wrestlers fought it out, Azim's Batista, Sgt Slaughter and Chris Benoit. It boiled down to a match between Benoit and Sergeant Slaughter, with Batista pretty much an outsider, and Sgt Slaughter emerged triumphant, adding the European Title to his Hardcore Title!

Contributors to the site welcome!

Feel free to comment anytime. Remember Raw Deal's all about participation so be sure your trash-talking is at its best!

If you want to post to the site, even better! Let me know, in the comments, drop an email and I'll invite you into the writer's list so you can contribute. Maybe you have a report for the match you were in, or maybe you want to give a monologue on how YOU deserve to be one of the champions, or why someone else shouldn't be. It's all good, don't forget that Attitude is key!

A few things to note on the site: On the left are the current holders of all the belts currently in contention. Just above the posting area is a list of the matches scheduled for the week. This will of course be subject to change as and when latest information is available. Just one thing though, whilst you can issue a challenge through this site, you still need to notify the Tournament Organiser, Andy, so that he can do the necessary scheduling and ensure the holder is aware of the challenge.

All set? Good, let's wrestle!

Home for Malaysian Raw Deal !

That's right folks, Ringsteps is now the unofficial home for WWE Raw Deal in Malaysia. Previously I was posting the news in my mutiply blog but after a while I realised that it deserved its own space. There's quite a bit of material that I want to post but I understand when some of you don't want to wade through my sentimental drivel and my daily going-ons to find the Raw Deal posts. Plus I'm also starting to find Multiply a bit unwieldy in comparison to blogspot so here we are.

It's still a work-in-progress, so you might see a few changes as I work on achieving a unique look for the site.

Nevertheless, welcome all, let's get you on to the RingSteps and let's get cracking!
